Harold D. Thompson
Harold D. Thompson, the founder of the practice, is an aggressive litigator with a reputation for quality that makes his retention a key to success in any adversarial proceeding. What distinguishes Harold from other successful, skilled trial lawyers is his direct, hands-on approach to any matter. With a background in finance and philosophy, Harold understands what is necessary for a comfortable work environment as well as what it takes to reach the most favorable outcomes for his clients.
At the same time Harold is never afraid to take a case to trial. Because of his almost thirty years of experience as a trial lawyer, he is well known in the legal community and well regarded by the attorneys, judges and court personnel in the jurisdiction where he practices.
Harold has received superior results in a wide variety of cases especially in the areas of real estate litigation, personal injury, bankruptcy and probate.
Harold was born and raised in Northern California. Days after graduating high school he reported for basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. In 1966, after more than four years with the Marines he started work in the personal finance industry. Realizing the need for competent, supportive legal representation, Harold enrolled at the University of San Diego School of Law.
He and his wife of more than 35 years, live in San Diego. They have one son, Anthony.
